Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

Featured on The Food Network’s program The Best Thing I’ve Ever Tasted, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is a Columbus-based company that has created an ice cream revolution.

The Owner and Co-Founder, Jeni Britton-Bauer, is an advocate for small dairy farmers in Ohio and is committed to using small grass-fed dairy farms for her fascinating recipes.

In 2002, she and husband Charly Bauer launched Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. Today, there are store locations around the Columbus area and of course, in Dublin (right beside the Dublin Visitor Center).

With her small team, Jeni makes every batch of ice cream that is served in her stores and shipped nationwide. Using high quality ingredients and fresh, local ingredients is an integral part of the business. Jeni’s mission is to use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Other ingredients like vanilla beans are sourced from Uganda.  

Jeni’s jaw-droppingly delicious signature recipes—from her Goat Cheese with Roasted Cherries to her Queen City Cayenne to her Bourbon with Toasted Buttered Pecans are unexpected flavors that dance across your taste buds.

The signature collection is always available, but Jeni does seasonal collections as well. So there is always a new flavor combination to try like Vanilla Cedarwood or Wildberry Lavendar.
