History
In 1946, Eleanor and Andre Gelpi purchased the home, where Eleanor Gelpi lived until her death in 1985. Ms. Gelpi was a founding member of the Greater Columbus Arts Council and the Committee to Save the Ohio Theater, as well as a trustee of the Ohio Arts Council, Ballet Met, the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, and CAPA, among other organizations.

After Ms. Gelpi’s death, The City of Dublin purchased the estate in 1999 with the intention of turning the site into a cultural arts center. The Dublin Arts Center opened to the public in 2002.
