The Lima Company Memorial: A Tribute to our Fallen Marines   5/24/2008 through 11/11/2008
The exhibition was created in memory of 22 fallen Marines and a Navy Corpsman from the Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division who lost their lives while serving in Iraq in 2005. The exhibition will be on view to the public from May 24 through November 11, and is free and open to the public.

Quilting Stories   6/1/2008 through 10/12/2008
This exhibit will show how 19th and 20th century Ohio quilters used quilting to tell stories about family, heroes, celebrations and even political causes. The quilts on display are from the Ohio Historical Society's extensive collection of some 200 years of quilting in Ohio.

Family Nights at the Zoo   6/25/2008 through 8/20/2008
Each Wednesday night June 25 through Aug. 20, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium will stay open late for the fifth annual Family Nights at the Zoo. Special Zoo programming and many other fun activities geared toward families spice up these summer evenings. 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Water's Edge Events Park located along the banks of the Scioto River.

Teddy Bear Safari   8/16/2008
Any child bringing a teddy bear to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium this day will receive a special discount as well as an opportunity to take their bear to a Children's Hospital clinic for check-ups and band-aids. Special bear programs and characters will round out this day's activities. Visitors will also have the opportunity to view their favorite Zoo animals in action on this day during Block and Roll where animals throughout the Zoo will receive ice blocks filled with their favorite treat. 9-5.
