"They rolled, shouted and barked like dogs!" - an Evening with an Itenerant Preacher. Religion on the Ohio frontier was more than just going to meeting on Sunday.  A traveling preacher might come through and hold a weeklong "camp meeting".  The local populace always looked forward to these events.  First hand accounts give wonderful details of such meetings.  Listen as an itenerant preacher regales you with his encounters.  Mike Follin from Chesterville, portrays an itinerant preacher on the Ohio frontier.
